Come on a stroll along the Lucia Falls Loop Hike as we discuss the native wild edible plants we see. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with plants to enhance identification skills. We will be learning about edibility or otherwise interesting uses of the plants, fun facts, and more! Since this is a park, we will not be harvesting, but you will learn the skills necessary to forage for these plants on your own turf after the hike. I can’t wait to see you there! Pre-register online HERE so I know you’re coming. Highlight plants will be: Wild Ginger, Salal, Western Red Cedar, Red Huckleberry, Wood Sorrel.
