Vegetable gardening is my area of expertise, I’ve made many mistakes where a little bit of guidance would have made all of the difference. Garden Brainstorm Session~ Working on re-designing your property? I’ll help you come up with conceptual ideas to enhance your plans. Follow up information will include pictures and inspiration.
Garden Problem Solver~ Wondering what is wrong with your plant(s)? We can walk around and identify problems and solutions. I’ll come out to your site and do an evaluation, take samples and follow up with a diagnosis and treatment information (Please note that it is not always possible to 100% dignosis or solve a plant problem, however this is a rare case).
Intro to Foraging for Wild Edible Plants, in your Backyard!~ Are you new to foraging and wonder what food you have growing for free in your own backyard? We can walk around your yard or property and I’ll show you the edible plants you have, ready to harvest. We can talk about safe harvesting, the best way to cook with the plants, and even how to propagate more.
Intro to Foraging for Wild Edible Plants, Site of your Choice!~ Similar to the backyard foraging consult walk, but some people want to learn from a different ecosystem. Whether an abondoned lot (with permission to visit), a city park, a state park, a friends farm, we are surrounded with wild edibles at our disposal. Visiting a park is one of the best ways to study natives, especially if you’re preparing for an adventure and want to have the skills to survive.
